Doing social good aligns with our group’s values of integrity and charity, which we strive to incorporate into our operations and policies to create a holistic, sustainable impact within the food service subsector.

Through our journey with NVPC, we have deepened our understanding of corporate purpose and have begun exploring various national programs and awards. These initiatives help us strategise our commitments in areas such as sustainable food sourcing, lowering carbon emissions, philanthropy, giving, and progressive employment practices.

Elsie’s Kitchen collaborates with NVPC to host visits and share our practices with fellows, which has been instrumental in identifying gaps in our own strategy for sustainable impact. These dialogues also provide opportunities to learn from other practitioners about applying corporate policies across different pillars of impact, further enriching our approach to social good.
