Ms Madeleine Loo Yen Lay is a General Counsel with extensive experience in IT, FMCG and Mobility Solutions across Asia Pacific. A global leader in building and managing diverse legal, compliance & risk teams and external legal partner networks across multiple markets. A business partner skilled in risk management and enabling business growth in a dynamic and complex environment.

Ms Loo started her career as a Deputy Public Prosecutor with the Attorney General’s Chambers in 1991 before moving to private practice in 1994. For the past over 20 years, Ms Loo has been the Asia Pacific General Counsel for global companies like SAP, Mars Inc and Bridgestone. Ms Loo is experienced in (i) complex commercial transactions, (ii) strategic transformation and M&A integration projects, (iii) ethics and compliance, (iv) dispute resolution and litigation management (v) investigations (vi) risk management and governance processes and (vii) crisis management.

She is a member of the Institute of Technical Education Board of Governors since 2022 and a member of SBF Foundation Board since 2016.
