Ready for your organisation to make a difference? Join SBF Foundation’s Community Marketplace and discover how to shape a brighter futures together with Community Agencies! C-suite level executives, senior management executives, CSR leads and HR Managers from SMEs will stand to gain valuable insights on how to create sustainable support.
The SBF Foundation galvanises the business community to do social good and endeavours to multiply the efforts of individuals and organisations alike and connect them to their charities of choice.
We have expanded from the inaugural business social impact forum 2019, and the employment forum in 2020, to the community marketplace in 2023, bringing SBF members and SMEs more avenues of knowledge as they explore where and how to do good that resonate with their corporate purpose.
An exemplary embodiment of this commitment is Project MigrantWell—an initiative born from the generosity of donors aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of migrant workers.
Sparked by the passion of the families of Khoo Teck Puat and Ng Teng Fong, SBF Foundation spearheaded Project MigrantWell, catalysing businesses to make a collective impact in society.
Seeking to create a holistic care compact network for the physical and mental wellbeing of migrant workers, SBF Foundation held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing event with our partners – the Estate of Khoo Teck Puat, Estate of Ng Teng Fong, St Andrew’s Mission Hospital and Ministry of Manpower.
Launched on November 29, 2021, Project MigrantWell has extended our reach beyond employees in need to encompass the crucial migrant worker community, which forms the backbone of many labor-intensive industries and has been disproportionately affected by the ongoing pandemic.
Project MigrantWell encompasses a charitable organization, welfare fund, and a regional medical center tailored to the needs of migrant workers in Singapore.
Companies who wish to contribute towards enabling a catalytic care compact for migrant workers in Singapore may donate here.
For businesses eager to extend their reach and support other causes that uplift the community—whether in the realms of Arts, Sports, Health, Social issues, or Education—we warmly invite you to get in touch with us.
