Mr Patrick Kho

Patrick Kho is the Group Managing Director of Lian Huat Group. Patrick read Electrical and Electronic Engineering at St John’s College in the University of Cambridge from 1985 to 1988. In 1988, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and subsequently in 1991, he obtained a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Cambridge. Patrick is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1999.

Patrick served his scholarship bond with the Singapore Armed Forces until 1996 when he left to join Lian Huat Group. During his 12 years military career, Patrick served in various command and staff leadership positions in the Republic of Singapore Air Force.

As the Group Managing Director of Lian Huat Group, Patrick manages the property development, investment and hotel businesses in Singapore as well as the group’s property investments and hotel businesses in Australia and China.

Patrick and his family actively engage in social responsibility and philanthropic causes. Patrick is the Vice-Chairman of the Singapore Road Safety Council which promotes public awareness and concern about road safety and propagates the concept of self-responsibility in road safety under the auspices of the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore. He is also a Director of St John’s Cambridge (Singapore), a charity with IPC status to raise funds to award scholarships to Singapore students studying in St John’s College in University of Cambridge. In 2018 he joined the Board of the Singapore Business Federation Foundation and currently serves as the Chairman of the Programme Sub-committee.

Patrick is also a Council Member of the National Council Against Drug Abuse as well as the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association where he serves as the Chairman of the Preventive Drug Education Sub-Committee. In 2020 for his commendable public service, Patrick was awarded the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Medal) by the President of Republic of Singapore.
