Enabling Inclusive Employment for a Thriving Workforce

The EmployWell (EW) programme by the SBF Foundation (SBFF) aims to re-integrate vulnerable persons into the Singapore workforce by providing tailored support to overcome employment barriers. These include employability workshops, job matching, personalised coaching, and employer engagement. Our approach empowers beneficiaries with the skills and support to secure stable, long-term employment, while helping businesses meet their manpower needs.

Currently, we partner social service agencies like Daughters of Tomorrow to reach out to women facing challenges, New Hope Community Services to engage homeless individuals, and Singapore Association for Mental Health for persons recovering from mental health conditions.

What We Do
The SBF Foundation raises funds, fosters collaborations and drives programme outcomes by:
• Leveraging Networks:

Tapping into SBF’s database of over 30,000 companies to connect businesses with EW initiatives as well as raise funds for the programme.

• Monitoring Progress:

Working with programme partners to meet their KPIs and deliver on measurable outcomes.

• Employer Engagement:

Organising platforms and events to promote inclusive hiring practices and engage employers in the mission of workforce inclusivity.

• Facilitating Knowledge Sharing:

Hosting Communities of Practice (COP) to enable partners to share insights, document best practices, and refine strategies for impact.

Meanwhile, our partners play a pivotal role in providing:
• Tailored Employability Workshops:

Equip participants with job-ready skills, from interview techniques to resume writing.

• Job Coaching:

Offer one-on-one coaching to build confidence and enhance participants' abilities to navigate the job market.

• Job Matching & Employer Engagement:

Partner with inclusive employers to connect beneficiaries to job opportunities and ensure a sustainable, supportive workplace environment.

Our Impact

By enhancing the job readiness of vulnerable workers, EW seeks to create a positive impact not only for individual participants but also for businesses in need of manpower, contributing to a stronger, more inclusive workforce.
