The Industry-led Compassion Fund (ICF) is an initiative by the SBF Foundation, empowering Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) to create industry-specific funds. These funds provide timely financial support to employees facing unexpected crises. Rooted in the values of empathy and solidarity, the ICF demonstrates how businesses can collectively care for their workforce and contribute to a more resilient and compassionate society.
ICF provides financial aid to employees facing difficult circumstances such as medical emergencies, accidents, or family crises, helping them recover and rebuild.
Funds are set up and managed collectively by TACs, allowing businesses within the same sector to pool resources and extend assistance to those in need.
SBF Foundation oversees the administration of the fund, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and alignment with the needs of the workforce.
Since its inception in October 2020, the Industry-Led Compassion Fund has provided financial assistance to 282 employees across various industries, offering relief during challenging times. Partnerships with industry associations have enabled collective action, ensuring funds are accessible to employees in need across sectors.
