Youth Connections 2025: Linking Youth to Leaders, Networks, and Opportunity

The fifth edition of Youth Connections ran from 24 September to 10 December 2025, bringing together our largest cohort to date: 107 Youths and 57 Connectors from across the business community.

Launched on 24 September at *SCAPE, the programme was officiated by Jean Tan, CEO of the SBF Foundation and Chief Social Sustainability Officer at SBF. In her opening remarks, she highlighted Youth Connections’ evolution from a youth engagement initiative into a vibrant community that advances social mobility – where business leaders actively share their networks, experiences, and perspectives to support underserved Youths in building confidence, broadening horizons, and accessing opportunities they may not otherwise encounter.

Tis year, students from Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic, a new partner, embarked on a two-month journey of learning and exchange. Through dialogue sessions, over meals and office tours, Youths connected with leaders from diverse sectors, gaining first-hand perspectives on leadership, workplace culture, and career pathways, while benefiting from the Connectors’ willingness to open doors, make introductions, and demystify the world of work.

At the heart of Youth Connections is the strong commitment of our business leaders. Their willingness to volunteer their time and experience enables meaningful, two-way learning that benefits both Youths and Connectors alike. The programme demonstrates how businesses can turn purpose into action through impactful volunteering and by investing time, networks, and influence in the next generation.

As Singapore marks SG60, this edition of Youth Connections reaffirms our commitment to building an inclusive, resilient, and connected society. The programme concluded on 10 December with a celebration of the friendships forged, ideas exchanged, and growth achieved along the way.

More than a programme, Youth Connections is a community, where Youths and Business Leaders come together to expand networks, unlock opportunities, and thrive.
