Youth Connections (YC) is a programme by the SBF Foundation (SBFF) that connects young individuals, including youth-at-risk, with accomplished business leaders. By offering a positive role model and fostering meaningful relationships, YC empowers youths to expand their professional networks, grow self-confidence and foster career aspirations.
YC pairs youths, including underserved students, with experienced business leaders who serve as role models and open doors to opportunities they might not otherwise access.
Over two months, participants engage in three impactful sessions - speed matching, bonding over lunch, and a company visit. These interactions create meaningful connections, broaden perspectives, and offer insights and opportunities into the professional world.
The programme closes with sharings of personal growth as well as appreciation for new and meaningful friendships formed.
